    Homework policy:

Homework is essential and expected in order to progress in language development and mastery.  The practice you do on your own at home will reinforce the skills needed to be successful on assessments in class. By doing this, you’re taking control of your own learning. You will be given many opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge of the material, as well as many practice activities. Therefore, identifying areas in need of improvement and practicing of skills through homework and class activities are a vital part of achievement.

Homework turned in and completed on time will receive a grade of 100%.

Homework only partially completed on the due date will receive a grade of 60%.

Homework submitted one class period late will receive a grade of 60%.

Homework never completed or submitted more than one class period late will receive a grade of “Z” for zero.

    Academic Integrity:

If a student is caught cheating or uses an online translator or the help of a native speaker, they will earn a zero as this is a direct violation of the honor code. Parents and administrators will be notified as well.
