Biology- Mr. Connelly:
Mr. Connelly, a native northern Pennsylvanian, grew up in Elk County and began his teaching career in 2012 teaching Biology in Loudoun County Public Schools. The 2020-2021 school year will be his ninth year at THS. This year he will be teaching Academic and Research Biology as well as Independent Science Research here at Tuscarora.
In the classroom, he likes to incorporate the use of hands on examples and relating content to real world examples with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. When not in the classroom, he enjoys boxing, hiking, reading, and hockey (LET'S GO PENS!). Known to those who he has taught, he is also a huge shark enthusiast.
He is a proud graduate of the NCATE accredited, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education - Biology and a Master’s Degree in Online Instruction. Currently, Mr. Connelly is certified to teach both Biology and General Science in grades 7-12.
