At the FDES library, our goal is to provide our students and staff with a pleasant, welcoming environment where they can find the physical and virtual resources they need for research, instruction and recreational reading.

Classes come to the library once a week for story time/lesson/checkout.  The library is open from 7:30-7:45 each morning so that students may stop in to return/check out books and participate in a variety of reading programs.  Teachers may send students to the library any time during the day to check out books.

Preschool, kindergarten and first grade students may check out one book.  Second through fourth graders may check out two books and fifth graders may check out three books.  Books are checked out for two weeks, but students are encouraged to return their books each week on their library day.  If books are not returned, no additional books may be checked out.  If books are damaged or lost, they must be paid for.

Check our library webpages for information about online resources, e-Books, book recommendations, and upcoming events.
