    Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Lori Borden.  I am currently entering my thirteenth year of teaching Kindergarten.  I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  I am licensed to teach Pre-K through sixth grade.  I live in Hamilton with my husband, 2 daughters, a chocolate Labrador Retriever and a few chickens. 
    I believe a child's experience in Kindergarten, their first year of formal education, helps shape the rest of their academic experience.  It is my desire to provide a positive, fun, and nurturing environment for your child to learn to their potential.  I love working with the young children and seeing them grow academically and socially.  I look forward to working with you as a team to make this year successful for your child.
