    Advanced Marketing Coop Syllabus 
     
     
    DESCRIPTION: This course offers training in pre-management level skills and is designed for the student who has a firm career interest in marketing. This course allows students to continue the arrangement of combining classroom instruction with supervised on-the-job training in a local marketing business. Instruction in this year of the program concentrates primarily on the development of competencies in the areas of sales promotion, merchandising, marketing research, and management. Entrepreneurship is an integral part of this class. Students are expected to stay employed throughout the school year in a teacher-approved marketing related job. DECA, the student professional organization, is an integral part of this course.
