    Señora Noh
    Spanish Teacher
    WLC Deparment Chair

Señora Noh was born in Seoul, Korea. She was fortunate to travel internationally all her life, as her father (retired now) worked for the Embassy of Korea. Thus, she had an opportunity to live in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 years. She was submerged in the Spanish language and culture. This is how her Spanish journey started. Her father was stationed here in the Washington D.C. office in 1983. She grew up here locally and graduated from McLean High School. She went to VT for an interior design major. And shortly after she went back to school to pursue a degree in her passion for the Spanish language. She holds a BA in Spanish, a Spanish teaching license K-12, and a masters in education MME (Multilingual Multicultural Education) from George Mason University. She also has a TESOL and administration leadership certificates from George Washington University.

She is married with three children. Her twenty one year old son graduated from UVA with a BA in chemistry. He is one of the Physics teacher at PVHS while currently attending GMU for his Masters in Education. Her nineteen years old daughter is a sophomore at George Mason University pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. Her youngest daughter is seventeen years old (a senior in high school) and loves to do crew and plays the tenor saxophone with her school's band (drum major this current school year!).

This is Señora Noh's eighth year at Park View High School. But her ninth year teaching Spanish with Loudoun County. She taught Spanish at private schools in the previous years, from preschool to adult education.
