• Federal Programs

     

    Federally funded programs that provide funds to meet criteria set forth by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA):

    Title I, Part A provides funding to develop, implement and evaluate instructional programs that ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards.

    Title I, Part D provides funding to support improve educational services for children and youth in local and State institutions for neglected or delinquent children and youth so they have the opportunity to meet the same challenging State academic content and State student achievement standards that all children in the State are expected to meet.

    Title II provides funds to assure that students in high poverty and/or high minority schools are not taught by inexperienced, unqualified, or out-of-field teachers at a higher rate than students in other schools.

    Title III provides funding to help develop high-quality language programs designed to assist in teaching LEP and immigrant children.
