After having graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University (GO DUKES!!!) in 2001, I began my career in Loudoun County and taught middle school for four years.  This is my fifthteenth year at Broad Run and during my tenure, I earned my Masters in Music from George Mason University (GO PATRIOTS!!!).  In 2012, I achieved National Board Certification - the first (and only) Choral Director in Loudoun County Public Schools to do so.  I am also a current member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), American/Virginia Choral Directors Associations (ACDA/VCDA), National/Virginia Education Associations (NEA/VEA), Loudoun Education Association (LEA), and a lifetime member of Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI).  I am teaching 8th Grade Chorus at Farmwell Station Middle School, as well as Chorus, Guitar and Musical Theatre at Broad Run High School.   I also serve as the BRHS Fine Arts Department Chair.  I have truly enjoyed my time teaching and becoming a part of the Ashburn community.
