LCPS Day of Free Testing for Home Instructed StudentsThe Code of Virginia §22.1-254.1.C, requires that parents submit evidence of their child's academic achievement/progress annually.
This can be demonstrated through an evaluative letter, report card/transcripts from a virtual school, distance learning program, college, university or correspondence school or with test results from a nationally-normed, standardized achievement test. In an effort to assist families who provide home instruction with this requirement, the Office of Testing Services may offer one day of free testing each year. Please check back for updates later in the school year.
