• LCPS Day of Free Testing for Home Instructed Students
The Code of Virginia §22.1-254.1.C, requires that parents submit evidence of their child's academic achievement/progress annually.

This can be demonstrated through an evaluative letter, report card/transcripts from a virtual school, distance learning program, college, university or correspondence school or with test results from a nationally-normed, standardized achievement test. In an effort to assist families who provide home instruction with this requirement, the Office of Testing Services offers one day of free testing each year.
