    Hello and welcome to my website!  This is Dr. Willmot and I thrilled and excited to return to the 2022-2023 school year!  This will be my eighth year at Briar Woods, and my twenty-second year as a Theatre Director and Instructor in Loudoun County Public Schools.  I look forward to a year of theatre full of wonder and excellence at Briar Woods High School! 
     
     
    As we embark on a new and exciting year of theatre, I wish to thank you all in advance for being true to BWHS Theatre.  As always, productions are dedicated to all the students, faculty, staff, and families of BWHS who support and believe in the power of the Arts!
     
     
    Our first performance was A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
    November 10th, 11th, 12th @ 7pm and 13th @2pm 
     
    The second performance was our musical, Into The Woods
    February 16th, 17th, 18th @ 7pm and 19th @ 2pm
     
    Our third performance was the VHSL One Act Festival Competition piece, Three Sales in America Trademark
    February 4th @ Riverside HS -- result Sectional Runner Up (2nd) advancing to Regions
    February 18th @ Harrisonburg HS -- result 4th place (in a close race)    
     
    Our last mainstage performance for the AY 2022-23 will be Senior-Directed Student One-Act Festival 
    April 14th and 15th @ 7pm  
     
     
    Having said that, let me tell you a little bit about myself.  
     
     
    Education:
    Experience:
    • Twenty years with LCPS at Broad Run and Briar Woods High Schools 
    • Prior to that, seventeen years professional arts experience in modern dance, technical theatre, and acting
    • Additionally, thirteen years professional massage therapy experience, Virginia certified, Nationally certified
