MATH MASTERS CHALLENGE
Schedule Update: Please note that the final challenge will be held on May 6th at 8:AM in school cafeteria.
We are pleased to offer the compliment to our Word Masters Challenge program –Math Masters Challenge. This optional extracurricular challenge is available for students in grades 3 through 5. Each month over 5 months, a new practice test will be posted online. The answers to the practice test will be posted online the following month. In April, students will be invited to take the Math Masters Challenge, which will be in the same format as the monthly practice tests. The challenge is not scored and do not impact the student’s grade; they will, however, be corrected and returned to the students. Prizes will be given to participating students.
The first practice test will be posted on Nov. 1, with the answers posted on Dec. 1 along with the next practice test. The final Challenge will be on April 22, 2014 , at 2:05pm in the cafeteria – a reminder will be announced. com .Students, who have parental permission, will report to the cafeteria at 2:05 p.m. on April 22, 2014. Students will be provided with worksheets that need to be completed independently, and then return to class. Scored sheets will be returned to students. Prizes will be given to participating students.
