• Hello and Welcome to Ms. Finnegan's Website!

    As a child, I grew up listening to my grandfather tell the stories he told in his own history classroom. As an adult, I am lucky enough to be able to combine those stories with my own experiences and world travels to try and bring history to life in the classroom. Although I was a military brat and grew up in various locales around the world, I attended high school at Stone Bridge right here in Loudoun County. Once I graduated, I attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA where I received my BA in History and my Masters in Secondary Social Studies Education. I was thrilled to receive an offer to work at Broad Run High School, and I am now entering my third year here as both a Social Studies teacher and the JV Assistant Softball coach.

    Communication:     Communication between students, parents, and teachers is extremely important. Should you have any questions or concerns about classwork or what the homework assignment is, please check the website first.
