Overview of Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel Requirements

TSIP Form

Licensure cannot be granted without the Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel Proficiency form (TSIP). The form should be completed with the Instructional Facilitator for Technology at your school during your first year teaching in a Virginia school system. If your Virginia teaching license already notes completion of this requirement, you will not need to submit the information.

This form is to be submitted with the teacher licensure application.

TSIP Renewal Form

Now required every 5 years- Technology Competencies Verification – Submit the Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel Proficiency form (TSIP) if your license does not show “Met.” Submit the TSIP Renewal Form if your license shows "Met."
