How can I help at home?

Parents can help at home by being a partner with your child’s classroom teacher. This partnership will help your child attain a higher level of reading and writing success.

          You can create a place in your home designated for homework isolated from distractions such as the TV.

          Children should practice reading each night. Your child may choose to read the same book several times. Please encourage your child to practice these books. Each time your child reads a book he /she is learning how to read with fluency.
