Spartan Early Learning Center is the lab preschool at Broad Run High School.  Children must turn three by March 31, 2021 to be eligible for our Fall 2021 preschool classes.  In addition, your child must be self-toileting.  Typically, preschool starts in October and ends in May, specific dates to be determined. For the past several years, Spartan Center has offered preschool two days a week, alternating between Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday.  There is no preschool on Fridays.  Drop off starts at 1:05, preschool begins at 1:10.  Pick up is 3:50 - 3:55.

We hope to offer two preschool classes, Tigers & Bears, next year.   Tigers meet on “A” day afternoons, Bears on "B" day afternoons. A calendar of preschool days will be provided.

For the 2021-2022 preschool year:  PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN SUPPLY FEE:  There is a $350 non-refundable fee for supplies.  This fee is payable with your registration forms in late August / early September, date to be determined; there are no other fees.  The supply fee covers all supplies and materials, a healthy snack each preschool day, and one field trip.

If your child needs an epi-pen, has other allergy or health issues, forms may be required.  Please check out the LCPS Student Health Services page.  Please include information on a separate sheet about health issues that we need to know about.  If your child has allergies severe enough to require an Epi-pen, you will need to download a special form which must be completed by a physician prior to beginning preschool.  We also require an Epi-pen and an antihistimine (if recommended by physician) that will be kept in the preschool emergency box.
