SUGGESTED LIST OF WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED -1. Make an appointment with your child's Guidance Counselor and sign up for Family Connection. This is a web-based tool used to help guide your child through their high school years and a great tool in planning for their future.2. Sign up to receive text messages from Broad Run High School to receive information and updates on upcoming events. Send a text message to 41411 - in the body of the text, type SpartanTalk. Hit send. If you did this correctly, you will receive a confirmation email and you must reply to the confirmation email in order to automatically receive text messages.3. Sign up for PIM - Parent Information Management System - update your phone numbers and email address. Log onto to the Loudoun County Public School website. We will have this link available on our website shortly.4. Set up a lunch account for your child in the cafeteria - you can do this on-line via the BRHS website or in person. Whether your child eats lunch in the cafeteria or brings their lunch, it is a good idea to set the account up with funds, so that on the rare occasion your child forgets his or her money, they have funds for lunch.5. Join the PTSO - applications can be found on the BRHS website under PTSO link.6. Join the Broad Run Athletic Booster Club (BRABC) - applications can be found on the BRHS website under Community tab/BRABC web page.7. Review the booklet - Broad Run High School, Who's Who and What's What. This booklet lists all of the clubs and activities offered to BRHS students. Please review with your child and encourage him or her to participate.8. Save Broad Run High School link as a favorite and check it regularly for updated and school functions. Lots of valuable information on the school website.9. Ask your child about the school's newpaper "The Spartan". Parents can access a copy of this student produced newspaper via the BRHS website.10. Don't forget to order a Yearbook! You can access the order form on our website.
