Dr. Cynthia Miller has been an Instructional Facilitator for Technology (IFT) since 2002. A graduate of Loudoun County High School, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Shenandoah University with teacher certification in educational technology and online teaching, computer science, journalism, keyboarding, and government, a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from George Mason University, K-12 school administrator certification, and a Doctorate in Administrative Leadership from Shenandoah University with a focus on using educational technology for formative assessment.
Prior to coming to LCPS as the Asst. Public Information Officer in 2000, she was a classroom teacher for 5 years in computer technology, communications, keyboarding, reading/writing remediation, US history, government, and alternative education. Dr. Miller is a Microsoft Innovative Educator and Google Level 2 Certified Educator. Some of her hobbies are outdoor activities, including sailing, fishing, gardening, and running. She also enjoys sewing and home decorating.
