         Welcome to First Grade! 
     
    I am proud to say I am a charter member of Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary, and I am thrilled to be back in first grade this year!  This will mark my eighteenth year teaching in Loudoun County (for three years, I was a first grade teacher at Seldens Landing Elementary) and my thirty-first year teaching. 
    Prior to teaching in Loudoun County, I taught for 13 years in Jefferson County, West Virginia.  During my teaching career, I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, and Sixth Grade.  
    I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education: K-8 from Shepherd College (now Shepherd University).  I later received my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from West Virginia University. 
    This will be another great year here at Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary!
