• Support Programs

Beginning the school year 2010-2011, Broad Run has launched a new mentoring program for incoming freshmen.  The Omega Program will include a staff of five teachers, a guidance counselor, and an administrator.  This team of educators will work closely with each student in order to secure a successful first year of high school.  The program is designed to give each student some extra support and attention during their first year of high school.  Classes will be of normal size and the material and expectations will be consistent with Loudoun County guidelines.  The only exception is that each student in the program will be required to take a skills enrichment class and will therefore lose their one elective for the freshmen year.  Students will earn one credit and it will focus on improving the students’ study habits, writing & reading skills, and test taking abilities.
