Hi! My name is Mrs. Peng. This past school year was my 14th year teaching in Loudoun County. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters Degree in Special Education from James Madison University. I have always wanted to be a Kindergarten Teacher and was so excited when Loudoun County hired me for my dream job! A favorite quote of mine is "We teach children about life. Children teach us what life is all about." I feel that this quote really explains why it is such a joy to teach young minds. We may think we are teaching them, but they are also teaching us each day. Every child I have taught over the years has made a profound impact on my life, I look forward to your child doing the same!

I was raised in Northern Virginia and now live in Chantilly! When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my husband, our 2 sweet little boys, and our loving dog! We love reading, playing, and spending lots of time oustide together.

Hello ! My name is Simran Kaur and this is my sixth year serving in Rosa Lee Carter Elementary. I have served as a Parent Liaison, School Counseling Secretary, Teacher Assistant (Special Education), Library Assistant and a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant for Loudoun County Public Schools. I have been a Loudoun County resident for 16 years and I have a 14 year old son who attends Academies of Loudoun. I know that LCPS has given my son a great foundation in life, educationally as well as socially. I am so excited to begin the new school year with your children embarking on this wonderful adventure ! Everyday brings new learning, friendships and opportunities for kindness. Kindergarten is truly fundamental - educationally, socially and emotionally and we feel extremely privileged to be a part of this process. Can't wait to begin this school year in Kindergarten! Until then, keep reading!!!
