                The Virginia Reader Choice Program:

Have you heard of this terrific program?  Formerly known as the Virginia Young Readers, the Virginia Readers Choice Program recognizes books of outstanding literary appeal and creates a reading list for each school year.  After becoming acquainted with these titles in their school library, students throughout the state vote on their favorite book each spring.

Throughout the school year, I will be reading selections from the Primary list to Kindergarten, first, and second grade students.  Third, fourth and fifth grades will enjoy books from the Elementary list. Multiple copies of these books are on display in the library and available for checkout.
