    Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
    Welcome!

I am excited to be at Sterling Elementary School for the 12th year as a Kindergarten teacher. My goal is to facilitate learning by creating a challenging and stimulating atmosphere for each student. I hope to provide a safe and enriching environment so that each student can grow in their abilities, feel successful, and become independent learners. My educational background includes a Masters degree and more than forty graduate credit hours in education from George Mason University, University of Charleston, South Carolina, and from University of Delhi, India. In my 26 years of teaching career, I have taught first, second, and third grades in Charleston, South Carolina, kindergarten to middle school grades at different schools overseas.

I enjoy teaching in the Kindergarten classroom and am looking forward to another great

    school year!
