Morning Wellness Clubs are open to all RHEstudents from K-5 every morning from 7:10-7:25.
Fall Running ClubFall Running Club: All students from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited every morning from 7:10-7:25 to participate in our morning exercise programs. During the fall we will have our running club. The students must first go to their classrooms, drop off their book bags, tell the teacher that they are present and that they are going to Running Club. This year running club will be held out on the track on pretty mornings and in the multipurpose room on rainy mornings. At 7:25 all students will be sent back to class to begin the school day. All Running Club activities can be used on the students Fitness Calendars.Winter Sport Stacking ClubWinter Sport Stacking Club: After the students have dropped off their book bags in their classroom and told the teacher that they are going to Sport Stacking Club, then they come down to the cafeteria for some morning brain, agility exercise from 7:10-7:25. During the winter months this year we are going to hold a Sport Stacking Club. Sport Stacking is an exciting individual and team sport where the competitors up stack and down stack 12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences at lightning speed. Cup stacking promotes hand-eye coordination, ambidexterity, quickness, and concentration - skills needed to excell in both sports and the classroom. The time spent on morning Sport Stacking can be used on the students Fitness Calendars.Spring Running ClubSpring Running Club: All students from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited every morning from 7:10-7:25 to participate in our morning exercise programs.
