    The mission of Pinebrook Elementary Technology department  is to educate and empower students in academics, to build foundational skills and support authentic instructional experiences of students with technology integration.
     
     
     
     
     
     At Pinebrook Elementary, the use of technology is integrated into your child's academic day.  Students have access to a Chromebooks as LCPS has adopted a 1:1 device model. Students have access to a variety of LCPS approved and supported programs that promote differentiated learning such as Dreambox Math and Reading A-Z. . There are also a variety of creation programs such as Wixie.  Promethean Interactive Panels are in each classroom to allow for interactive lessons for every content area.  Throughout the school year, students will engage in a variety of technology-rich learning activities.
     
     
     
    The Instructional Facilitator provides teacher with job-embedded coaching and support they need to ensure that technology is being used specifically and purposefully to help students get to Deeper Learning through various instructional strategies such as Project-Based Learning, Personalized Learning and Performance-Based Assessment.
