• Mrs. Hood

Hello!  My name is Molly Hood.  I have been a classroom teacher for 8 years and I am very excited to be starting my new role as a Reading Specialist at Newton-Lee! I am a Loudoun County native and I graduated from Briar Woods High School.  I graduated from Longwood University's Reading, Literacy, and Learning Graduate Program. I also attended Longwood in my undergrad where I earned my degree and teaching PK-6 license. I have become endorsed in ESOL as well. I am passionate about supporting students in their literacy growth and extremely excited to join the NLE team! In my free time I love to garden and cook. My husband Nate and I live in Waterford with our 1 year old daughter Sage. We love spending time with our friends and host bonfires and cookouts often. The Outerbanks is my favorite place on Earth!

  • Mrs. DiMario

Hello! I'm Nicole DiMario, and I'm thrilled to be joining the staff at Newton-Lee Elementary as a reading specialist. This is my 12th year working in Loudoun County Public Schools. Before starting at Newton-Lee, I worked as a middle-school reading specialist and a 7th grade English teacher.

I'm originally from Pennsylvania and received my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I also have a Master of Education degree from Carlow University and a reading endorsement from George Mason University.

When I'm not teaching, I'm usually reading or practicing yoga. I recently earned my yoga teaching certification!
