Jennifer Crim is a native of Loudoun County and a graduate of Park View High School. This is her 15th year here at Lowes Island and really feels "at home" here. She has enjoyed working in a school with such a supportive staff, great parents and amazing children. She now resides in Sterling, Va. with her husband and children. She has three children~ Ashley (28), Dakota (20 and was a part of the Lowes Island family) and Samantha (16-who also graduated from Lowes Island and is now attending Dominion High School). She is a grandma to an energetic 1 yr old and is SO excited about any time she's able to spend with her grandson. Jennifer has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood from West Virginia University. She received a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Integrating Technology in the Classroom from George Mason University. She began the love for teaching in 8th grade and has followed her dream ever since. She taught first grade for Fairfax County for 10yrs. and taught preschool half day in a private school. Her favorite part of teaching first grade is watching the growth the children show each and every day. She LOVES their excitement and eagerness to learn.
She looks forward to working with each of her students and parents in making this a wonderful and productive school year.
