Bess Romberg Fabis ~ School Counselor
Mrs. Fabis is a western Loudoun County native and happily embraced the role of full-time school counselor at Leesburg Elementary in 2016. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in Psychology & Anthropology, an M.Ed. in Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and is a National Certified Counselor. After completing her Master’s, Mrs. Fabis worked as a high school counselor in downtown Nashville for two years before returning home to Virginia. She enjoyed serving as an elementary school counselor in Fairfax County for five years before excitedly returning to LCPS to continue her career in the school system in which she was raised. Mrs. Fabis looks forward to connecting with all of the students at LES and supporting them in achieving their personal best through classroom lessons as well as individual- and small-group counseling. When not at school, Mrs. Fabis enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family, including her 3 children and their wild little dog.
