As the third graders look forward to writing a story based on a picture (as part of their portfolio), here's a great site for practicing writing to a picture prompt.  After selecting from the picture library, students may compose a story by using the "drag and drop" method, or may click on "freestyle" to enter a longer story (recommended!).  Save or print your stories if you wish.
