•        Mr. Grivetti  is in the 14th year of his music teaching career in Loudoun County!  He teaches the 1st grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade classes this year.  He also directs the Horizon Chorus of 4th & 5th graders.  A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University, Mr. Grivetti received his Bachelors in Music Education with emphasis in organ performance and choral/general music education.  Mr. Grivetti received his Master's degree in Music Education with emphasis in choral conducting from Florida State University.  In his spare time, Mr. Grivetti enjoys making music all around the area.  He serves as organist at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Herndon.  Mr. Grivetti also holds professional membership with the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME), Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men's Music Fraternity of America, and The American Guild of Organists (AGO).  Mr. Grivetti is very honored to return to the Horizon Elementary School staff for a 11th year.  Mr. Grivetti loves working with the children at Horizon and wants to take every opportunity to share the joy of music with every student.      

           Mr. Russell
    is excited to be returning to the Horizon Elementary School staff for the ninth year.  He teaches the Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade classes this year.  Mr. Russell earned his Bachelor's degree in Music Education and his Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Shepherd University.  Mr. Russell has completed Levels I and II in World Music Drumming.  Not only is Mr. Russell a teacher but is also a member of the 249th Army Band, West Virginia National Guard.  In the band, he plays the French Horn.  Mr. Russell enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter and going on a run whenever he can.
