Individual Counseling

Students are referred for individual counseling by a teacher, staff member, parent or themselves.  This means that the student will meet with the school counselor for a short period of time to discuss issues which may be affecting his/her school experience.  It is not therapy.  The school counselor will provide referrals to community agencies or a private counselor, as needed.
The goal of individual counseling is to assist students in understanding their feelings and exploring alternative ways to view situations.  It is intended to be brief and provide help in resolving immediate concerns.
Students, parents, or teachers can fill out this Google Form to let the school counselor know that a student needs to talk.
