Small Group Counseling
The counseling program is designed to help students develop good educational and social skills. Skills and information are often best taught in group settings. Groups are for everyone and participating does not necessarily indicate a problem. All students can benefit from learning how to accept responsibility, manage emotions, communicate effectively, make decisions, and solve problems. Students can learn from one another in small group settings. Groups meet during the school day once a week for 4-6 weeks.
Students may recommend themselves for a particular group. Teachers and parents also recommend students for group participation.
