Welcome to 5th Grade!Ms. Bucynski was a teacher in Fairfax County for eleven years, where she taught fourth and fifth grade in Herndon. She completed her undergraduate degree at Penn State University and obtained her graduate degree from George Mason University. Mrs. Bucynski lives in Leesburg with her husband, son (Mason), and daughter (Giada). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, doing crafts, and cheering on the Steelers. Mrs. Bucynski absolutely can't wait for another fun-filled year with her fabulous fifth graders!Ms. Davis holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. She enjoys incorporating technology into her lessons and coaching students through project based learning experiences. Ms. Davis believes a positive and relaxed environment helps students form bonds and encourages students to take a risk with their learning. Ms. Davis loves sitting on her front porch and reading a good book, crocheting, quilting and playing games with her boys.Ms. Munno holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6) from Western Governors University. Prior to joining the fifth grade team, she enjoyed 6 years of working closely with the English Language Learners at FHR. She is an active member of the school’s PBiS team, supporting positive student behavior in order to foster respect, responsibility, and relationships. Her interests include music, travel, reading, fitness, playing golf, and studying foreign languages. Her favorite activity is spending time with her wonderful husband and three amazing children.
Mrs. Przybylek holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction for Science. Mrs. Przybylek believes that students learn best with hands on activities and group learning experiences. She has been an active member of the PBIS team since her arrival at FHR. She enjoys cooking and baking in her free time as well as spending time with her husband and daughter.
Mr. Wilhide has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Lebanon Valley College. He encourages patience, positivity, and productivity in his classroom as students work together to support each other in their growth. He believes interactions and movement create an environemtn for learning. He enjoys playing various sports such as golf, basketball, volleyball and flag football. His other interests include being outside, cross-fit, running and spending time with his wife, Sandy and his two beautiful daughters, Aubrey and Brooke.
