Reading Specialist: Sherry Brogan, M.Ed.
This is Mrs. Brogan's twenty fifth year as a Reading Specialist in Loudoun County, and fortieth year in education. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood from The University of Tennessee. She has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Master’s degree in Reading from The University of Virginia. Prior to teaching in Loudoun County, Mrs. Brogan taught various grade levels in Florida and Illinois. She has been a classroom teacher in grades two, three, five, and six. Mrs. Brogan encourages her students to become lifelong readers as they open their minds to “learning to read” and “reading to learn.” Mrs. Brogan looks forward to watching her students become excited about reading!
