It is great to be back at Emerick for my 7th year as your School Counselor! I’m excited to bring the students of Emerick a great counseling program that will challenge students to not only achieve more for themselves, but also push them to be great citizens and work to help others.
A little about me:
I started life up in New York in a town called Lake Ronkonkoma, right in the heart of Long Island. I left NY to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from James Madison University. From there, I worked as a residential counselor in Gaithersburg, Maryland. My job there was very rewarding as I helped at-risk teens and young adults. Later, I went on to become a full time tutor working with children K-12 and beyond while I worked on my Master’s degree. In 2008 I completed my Masters of Education in counseling and in 2009 was hired as a counselor here at Emerick Elementary.
In my spare time you can find me going to concerts, listening to music, or drumming along to hits of the 80’s in my house. If not, then I most likely am at the movies or enjoying the many culinary establishments that Virginia has to offer with my wife, two children ( and if possible, my dog, Maverick).
Please feel free to e-mail or call me if you ever need anything or would like to meet or need to make an appointment.
