Hello my name is Shannon White! I'm starting my nineteenth year working for Loudoun County Public Schools, and my fifteenth year at Dominion Trail Elementary School.  I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from George Mason University, and I have taken several graduate courses through Shenandoah University.  Prior to coming to Dominion Trail, I taught kindergarten at Sully Elementary. 

I currently live in Leesburg with my husband, 2 children Liam(12) and Averi (8) and our Goldendoodle Lola.  As a family we enjoy going for walks, rooting for the Washington Capitals, attending Liam's hockey games and watching Averi dance!

I'm very excited about teaching at Dominion Trail again this year, and I look forward to a wonderful school year and watching your child grow!!!

I'm Arlene Lofgren, the teacher assistant with Shannon White in Kindergarten.  I have a degree in Business Management and have worked in accounting for the government, in the business office for Central Texas College in both Texas and Korea and I also taught conversational English to college students at Seoul University in Seoul, Korea for 3 years.  I have been a part of the Dominion Trail Family since 2000, first as a parent/PTA fundraising chair, and since 2004 I've been a Teacher Assistant here. This will be my 20th year at DTES, my 14th year with Mrs White!   I love helping your children learn and watching them grow over the year.
