I am originally from Norvelt, Pennsylvania but I have lived in Virginia for 30 years. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in education. This will be my eighteenth year teaching Second Grade in Loudoun County, and I just LOVE working with our wonderful staff and awesome families here at Cool Spring Elementary!
I have previously taught in Stafford County where I worked with Kindergarten and First Grade students. My entire teaching experience is going on 23 years.
My husband Curtis and I have three sons. Joshua, a graduate of GEORGE MASON, Mitchell, a graduate of THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA, and Jacob, a graduate of VIRGINIA TECH!  They ALL majored in Engineering/Computer Science.  We have a dog named Pepper and she is part border collie and black lab.  She adds a lot of excitement to our family!!
    * I enjoy reading, playing golf, gardening, Pittsburgh Steeler football, being outside, hiking, visiting new places, and chocolate!!*

I look forward to an exciting year of learning and growing with your child in second grade. Together we can make this year a positive learning experience for your child!  Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns you may have at any point throughout the school year.
