Ms. Evans has been a resource teacher at Ashburn Elementary since 2011.   She served as a teacher assistant at Guilford Elementary in Sterling before coming here to Ashburn. Ms. Evans has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Music from Hiram College in Ohio.  She has a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  She also holds a Master of Education degree from George Mason University  in the area of Special Education.  Ms. Evans worked in several fields before entering the field of education (including finance, music, customer service, publishing, food service, manufacturing, and floral design).  She has always enjoyed working with children, and has volunteered to do so through many venues.  Ms. Evans' varied experience informs her teaching in a unique and effective way.
