Tuscarora High School Chorus

I am delighted to be the choral director at Tuscarora High School!  This is an exciting and strategic time as together we build an outstanding choral program.  We will be learning a variety of the best choral literature and will have many different opportunities to perform it both individually and in groups.  As we sing we will be expanding our musical abilities and developing skills that can be used throughout our lives both professionally and for personal enjoyment.  I want to help each student become a lifelong learner through music which opens many doors to other cultures and historical periods.

I am committed to offering a program that gives each student exposure to many different musical styles, from Renaissance to classical, from jazz to show tunes.  My desire is to provide numerous performance venues: concerts, all-county and cluster events, district events, all-state events, Desserts on Broadway, and additional performances within our school and community. 

I look forward to working in partnership with students, parents, administrators, faculty and community leaders to enhance each student’s life.  It is my goal for every student in the choral program to have a positive, life-changing experience, reaching their full potential not only musically, but in every other dimension of their lives.
