I was born and raised in Atlanta Ga.  After high school I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I received a degree in photography.  Upon graduation I realized that I wanted to teach art.  I earned a Masters of Teaching from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore.  After graduate school I taught a year in Brooklyn, NY.  Before coming to Blue Ridge MS I taught two years at Sterling MS (seventh grade) and two years at Harper Park MS (seventh and eighth grade).  I am married, and a father of four.  Other jobs have included working in advertising and architectural rendering.  I teach at Blue Ridge MS on A days all day; I teach at Brambleton MS on B days all day.
