Loudoun County Public Schools - Summer Reading 2015
Students do not have graded assignments over the summer vacation. AP students do have assigned reading that will be assessed shortly after school begins in September. However, teachers do expect students to read at least one book for pleasure (and hopefully many more). Students are encouraged to participate in the library's summer reading challenge. The link is provided below.
Other Book Lists:
Please note: We recommend that students and parents work together to select books that best match the student’s interest and the family’s standards.
During a previous Read Across America Week, Stone Bridge students identified "The best book I ever read was..." The list that resulted from that activity can be found here for additional ideas of titles to read.
In addition, Amazon and YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) both offer a variety of book lists for students to find titles that will interest them.
