Professional Biography Steven Barham
English
Steve Barham is starting his seventh year at PVHS after spending the previous 18 at Seneca Ridge. Mr. Barham earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Middle Grades Education minor from James Madison University in 1994, a Masters of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech in 2001, and a Masters of Arts in English - Teaching Writing and Literature from George Mason University in 2008.
Mr. Barham is a Teacher-Consultant for the Northern Virginia Writing Project after completing the NVWP Summer Institute in 2005. Additionally, Mr. Barham was Seneca Ridge's nominee for the Agnes Meyer Teacher of the Year Award and co-winner of the Thunder Award given by the PTO in 2012-13. Mr. Barham is the sponsor of Park View's chapter of the National Honor Society.
Extra help is available before school most days from 8:25 until the school day begins.
