Summer Review for 2020
It is very important that you review the chemistry you learned in previous years. The Summer Assignment is not collected but that doesn't mean it isn't important. There are easy questions and very hard questions. Take notes as you read through it. When you get stuck, pull up your old notes and work through the issues. Reviewing the material is up to you. Many students wait until school starts to review the basics and it can be a struggle to learn new and complex material when you have not mastered the basics.

AP Chemistry Revamped
Starting in 2019 the AP Curriculum has been updated and reorganized into new units. We are currently working through the curriculum and updating notes and supporting documents. Below this entry are files, notes, and links to videos from previous years. While the information presented in those is accurate it is not in line with the current curriculum.

AP Chemistry Summer Assignment
I am in the process of revamping the assignment. The assignment is not collected but it is strongly suggested you complete it to position yourself for the best possible success. As I said in the end of year meeting, review everything you learned in chemistry and ask yourself "why". Many of you knew how to perform a problem or balance an equation but ask yourself "why do I need to balance that equation?"
I thought that I had posted the assignment before I left for the summer. I was checking my email today and two students informed me that I had not posted it yet. This looks a lot like previous years but it includes a list of vocabulary from your previous chemistry course. We do NOT collect this assignment. You should completely read over it. There are several new concepts inside ones you should already be familiar with from last year. Lastly, if you look back to previous years you can find videos were I explain how to work through each of the problems.
Updated file posted 8/13 as some question missing and answer out of order.
