Dual Enrollment (DE) Physics

 Hi DE Physics class,

   Welcome to the exciting world of physics! We will have fun learning  fascinating concepts in physics and doing labs and projects. You will find worksheets for the labs, chapter handouts, chapter problems, and also some review worksheets for the mid term and final exams. You will be given workbooks, but if you lose them you should be able to print these out from the website.

   A daily agenda of what we will be doing in class everyday and chapter wise including assignments is given in this link DE Physics Daily Schedule. The video recording of both asynchronous and synchronous meets will be posted in schoology. Students should watch these if they missed class or wish to review it again.

 Distance Learning Update: All students must be enrolled in both Remind and Schoology. All your assignments, assessments and video recordings of lectures are in Schoology. You will receive communication and reminders through Remind. Typically I will be posting asynchronous podcasts of lectures on Monday. Students are expected to watch these video lectures, work on assignments posted and come prepared during synchronous time on other days of the week. Synchronous time will be spent working on problems, doing online labs or group work with teacher assistance.

Important Testing Update: All tests, quizzes and exams will be monitored using respondus browser and video. Parents must provide permission to have cameras on and video recording of these sessions. This is a requirement from NOVA for all students wishing to take DE courses. Any questions regarding this must be addressed to the school administration or NOVA.
