    Event Coordinators: 

    Drama Awards:   Krishna Olguin and Andria Papalabrakopoulos

    Asst. Manager:  London Joffrion and Chloe Burrougs

    Mentee:  Sydney Kelly and Charlotte Tantum

    ❖  Work with Gilligan to create the theme of the event

    ❖  Enlist a large crew to set up and break down the event.

    ❖   Attend all drama awards meetings with the Parent VP’s.

    ❖   Maintain the order during the event.

    ❖  Coordinate student volunteers for lighting and sound (to include the Karaoke setup) for the event.

     

    Talent Show:  Chloe Burroughs and Emmi Caretti

    Mentee:  Michelle Harris

    ❖  Organize the tech team and support team for the event.

    ❖   Obtain the judges and create thank you gifts for them for the event.

    ❖   Assist with the selection of acts – to include the auditions.

    ❖   Obtain the Hosts.

    ❖   Assist the hosts in all aspects of the event.

    ❖   Help Gilligan with the Program

     

    Homecoming parade:  Hannah Margenau and Simone Dotson

    Asst. Manager:  Autumn Cantrell

    ❖   Secure a truck or flatbed for the event – including a driver.

    ❖   Find out what can be attached to it.

    ❖  Design the float.  The theme is The Little Mermaid.

    ❖  Purchase the decorations needed – with the budget given – then turn the receipts in for 

    reimbursement.

    ❖  Set up a poster making event at your (or a friend’s) home.

    ❖ See Gilligan regarding student walkers and students who will be in the back of the vehicle.

    ❖  Be the point of contact with all students participating.

    ❖  Ensure the walkers are wearing something to distinguish who they are.

     

    Princess Play and SuperHero Day Lead:  Lauren Antonik

    Princess Play: Kaitlyn Lanigan and Sydney Ivey

    Asst. Manager:  Autumn Cantrell and Chloe Burroughs

    ❖  Assist in the auditions

    ❖ Ensure all actors know all costume aspects they need to provide, such as what type of shoes, etc.

    ❖  Provide (or enlist someone to help) with make-up and hair, as needed.

    ❖  Enlist the help of someone to run sound for the event.

    ❖  Organize and demonstrate to the actors the craft project for the event.

    ❖   Ensure actors help with set up and break down.

    ❖   Organize the costume fittings as needed before the event.

         

     SuperHero Day:  Beckett Rice and Madison Florczyk

    Asst. Manager:  Simone Dotson and Robyn Mourad

    ❖  Assist in the auditions

    • Assist ITS Officers in planning and implementing the event(s)

    • Help organize student volunteers

    • Assist in getting the word out about the event(s) was working with publicity to ensure it is on social media as well as on local community websites.

     

    Publicity Team

    Head of Web announcements and Riverside Media, Head of RVHS Social Media sites

    Publicity Director:  Kaitlyn Lanigan and Chance McGill

    Asst. Publicity Director:  Megan Sawyer

    Oversees all of the various aspects of publicity

    The schedule is the most critical element - and must be maintained.

    General description:

    ❖   Attends all publicity meetings.

    ❖   Assists all publicity team members as needed.

    ❖ Works to ensure everything about the riverside theater maintains the high standards of the  department.

    ❖   Is on top of every deadline.

    ❖   Ensures they have all of the correct information - always.

    ❖ Ensure all aspects of their event are organized and ready to go in a timely manner.

     

    Specific Publicity Team Positions:

    Head of Web announcements and Riverside Media:  Chance McGill and Kylee Clark

    Mentee:  Sydney Kelly

    ❖  Promotes all public theater events and shows on the web, by the due dates.

    ❖  Obtains list of the sites, but continually and actively seeks additional ones…. Such as https://www.leesburgva.gov/visitors/festivals-events, https://www.visitloudoun.org/events/events-this-weekend/, https://dullesmoms.com/dmcalendar/category/location/other/

    ❖ Obtains promo videos and ensures they are placed on morning announcements.

    ❖  Works on creative ways to promote the show on the web.

     

    Head of RVHS Social Media sites:  Lauren Antonik and Megan Sawyer

    ❖ Maintains all of the accounts, keeping them up to date throughout the year.

    ❖   Works with the team to acquire posters and images to use.

    ❖   Ensures that everyone from a show, or event, is equally shown.

    ❖ Works with other schools to create a LCPS sharing of promotions.

    ❖ Actively Makes our sites visible to all students involved and part of the department, as well as 

    the entire school.

    ❖   Maintains accounts integrity.

    ❖   Works to promote, but not during rehearsal time, etc.

     

    Head of Pre-show photos, event photos, and promo videos:  Anna Salmon

    Mentee:  Charlotte Tantum

    ❖ creates a schedule with Gilligan for opportunities to photograph events and rehearsals and Mr, Wharton on general photography

    ❖  works with the publicity group to distribute photos and promos

    for use

    ❖   creates several promo videos for events and shows.

    ❖   Equally focuses on all members of the cast and crew.

    ❖  Ensures all photos and videos fall within LCPS guidelines and maintain the high standards of the riverside theater department.

     

    Head of Community and school advertisement:  Kylee Clark and Simone Dotson

    Mentee:  Robyn Mourad

    ❖   Places placards in the approved locations – to include using the ground spikes.

    ❖   Retrieves placards by the first Monday after the show, or during strike.

    ❖   Is responsible for posters being placed around the community.

    ❖  Is responsible for sending posters to all appropriate LCPS schools.

    ❖   Is responsible for placing – then removing - posters throughout Riverside.

    ❖ Is responsible for giving posters to key locations (such as day care centers, retirement

    communities, etc) as appropriate for the show.

     

    Ongoing Organizations

    Coffee houses:  Beckett Rice, Sydney Ivey, and Andria Papalabrakopoulos 

    Asst. Manager:  Autumn Cantrell and Simone Dotson

    Mentee:  Sierra Greene

    ❖   Create themed coffee houses.

    ❖   Enlist a crew to set up, and break down, each coffee house.

    ❖  Be responsible for the purchase and picking up all food and beverages for each coffee house, using the limit given – then the turning in of the receipts for reimbursement after each event.

    ❖   Maintain the order at the coffee houses.

    ❖   Assist in advertising the events.

     

    Spotlight: Kylee Clark

    ❖   Assist the Spotlight Officer

    ❖   Help create posts, ensuring all people and events are highlighted - and no one is left out

    ❖  More duties as needed by the Spotlight Officer

     

    ITS Advocate: Hannah Margenau

    ❖   Assist the ITS Advocate Officers

    ❖   Help with any events or activities they may plan - and be part of the planning process.

    ❖  More duties as needed by the ITS Advocate Officers

     

    Fundraising: Aimee Soriano and Anna Salmon

    ❖   Work with the ITS Officers in charge of fundraising to create and implement at least one fundraising event this school year.

    • Help organize student volunteers

    • Assist in getting the word out about the event(s) to include working with publicity to 

    ensure it is on social media as well as local community websites

    • Maintain order during the event.

    • Assist in advertising the events.

     

    RVHS Theatre Spirit: Kai Macaninch and Emmi Caretti

    Asst. Manager: Robyn Mourad

     

    ❖   Work with the ITS Officers in charge of Spirit this school year.

    • Help organize student volunteers if there are specific Spirit events

    • Assist in getting the word out about the event(s) to include working with publicity to 

    ensure it is on social media as well as local community websites

    • Maintain order during the event.

    • Assist in advertising the events.

    • Help create Spirit Activities or other ways, the Spirit team can be a part of RVHS Theatre.
