I attended James Madison University and completed my Bachelor's degree with a minor in Elementary Education. I continued at JMU to receive a Master's of Art in Teaching in Elementary Education pre-k-6th . After teaching Kindergarten in Virginia for five years, I decided to pursue certification in teaching English Learners. As a first year EL teacher, I am looking forward to growing with my students and helping them reach their goals! 

 

In my free time I enjoy cooking, yoga, and playing with my puppies, Jackson and Sadie.

 

I feel so privileged to be welcomed into the Sterling ES community and can't wait to see where our learning takes us this year!
