Miss Heflin

Hi! My name is Miss Heflin and I am so excited to be your student's first grade teacher this year!

I have been a teacher for 5 years, but this will be my first year in Loudoun County. I attended Virginia Tech and George Mason - Go Hokies! I currently live in South Riding, Virginia with my partner, Tyler, and our rescue dog, Mazley Mae. I enjoy teaching and doing kickboxing and I love to read. I look forward to doing hands-on, innovative, and FUN learning this year! I love to celebrate student success with class projects, parties, treats, and fun class events. One thing that is super important to me is that family members always feel welcome in my classroom.
