Mr. James Taylor

Welcome to Fourth Grade! I am James Taylor. This will be my first year opening up the educational year. I look forward to working with your learners for an excellent school year.

I am a Loudoun County native born and raised here in South Riding, and I grew up through the local branch of Loudoun County Public Schools. Following high school, I attended Hampden-Sydney College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and followed it up by earning a Master of Arts in History.

Most of my time outside the classroom is spent reading and writing while listening to music. While I don’t stick to any particular authors, I enjoy exploring books and stories all around. I hope to instill a similar passion in scholars or, at the very least, help them understand the key skills of comprehension needed for reading and writing.

My goal is to create a welcoming environment for all of my scholars during my time here. I look forward to working with parents and scholars to help scholars achieve the heights that they can reach.
