Sonal Pradhan

Welcome Panthers!

I am super excited to begin my first year teaching at Potomac Falls High School and my 6th year at LCPS. My first five years were at Brambleton Middle School where I taught 6th and 7th grade science. I have earned two Master of Science degrees in Biology and Life Science and I am certified by the Virginia Department of Education to teach high school Biology and middle school science.

I am a career switcher and I have successfully completed the Career Switcher Program through Shenandoah University. Before entering the teaching profession, I worked as a researcher, in the field of pathogen functional genome research, at “The Institute for Genomic Research” in Rockville Maryland.

I am a resident of the Potomac Falls area. In my spare time, I look forward to spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel with my family as it allows me to explore and understand various places and cultures. I am quite a culinary enthusiast, and my travels have allowed me to expand my culinary horizons. I like to be creative with anything I do, and gardening helps me relax and connect with nature.

I love science subject, and I look forward to sharing my passion for science with my students. I look forward to an awesome and exciting year at Potomac Falls High School.
