Kaitlin Sommer

Ms. Sommer is thrilled to begin her first year at Stone Bridge High School. She oversees the Special Education and Physical Education departments, as well as safety and security, 504 plans, homebound, intervention, and transportation. 

Ms. Sommer has worked in Loudoun and Fairfax counties as a special education teacher and dean. Ms. Sommer graduated from Shenandoah University with a bachelor's degree in political science. She earned her master's in special education at George Mason University, then returned to Shenandoah for her administration and supervision endorsement. She is currently working toward her doctorate in educational leadership at SU. Ms. Sommer looks forward to working with the students, families, and community of Stone Bridge! Go Bulldogs!
