• The Backpack Buddies Program provides weekend and holiday meal packs to families in need to help meet the nutritional needs of children when they are not in school.
    We are partnering with Galilee United Methodist Church, who will pack the bags for Belmont Station students. Bags will be handed out the Friday before the weekend and will contain all shelf stable, non-perishable food items for each weekend during the school year. Student confidentiality and rights will be protected and any information shared will be completely confidential with this Backpack Buddies program.

    Backpack Buddies meal packs are intended to serve the individual student. Each meal pack will contain the following, at a minimum:
    ● 2 breakfasts (oatmeal, small cereal box, granola bar, etc.)
    ● 2 lunches (cheese/peanut butter crackers, Ramen noodles, etc.)
    ● 2 dinners (boxed macaroni and cheese, beef ravioli, etc.)
    ● 2 snacks (applesauce, pudding, fruit cups, fruit snacks, etc.)
    ● 2 shelf milks
    ● 1 juice
